One Cafe by Life ‘n One is rebranded as Seva Table. Opened in 2014, it is Dubai’s first plant based cafe and serves healthy, organic and plant based food. Everything served in the cafe is gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, allergen free, GMO free, soy free and plastic free.
Nestled in a villa-styled venue in Jumeirah, Seva Experience is a wellness center with yoga studio that offers yoga, meditation and Pilates. It also houses a cafe in the garden which is the Seva Table.
The cafe is gorgeous with aesthetically done interiors, lush greenery and soulful music. You don’t have to travel to Bali, we have a little slice of Bali right here in Dubai.
We loved the chic and eco-friendly furniture, swings, log tables and motivational quotes adorning the walls of the venue. The atmosphere is relaxed and homey. Perfect place to read a book or work on the laptop or just to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The cafe’s library is packed with great books and Seva Table encourages you to savour the beautiful sanctuary, so you’ll not find WiFi there. Make connection with yourself and others.
I started off with Anti-Inflammatory Tonic to drink. It can be served hot or cold as per your choice. As a starter I had Sharing is Caring and it consisted of Guacamole, Black Hummus and Cashew Tzatziki served with veggie sticks and corn tortillas.
Absolutely loved it and a definite must-try if you visit the cafe. Good to share between 2-3 people. Next I had the nutritious and healthy Superfood Salad.
As a main course I had Arepas, Venezuelan corn bread filled with South American flavors. It was wholesome and comforting. For dessert I had Cookie Dough and Fig & Wild Orange raw vegan chocolate bar. Enjoyed their delicious and guilt free desserts.
Ended my lunch with Pumpkin Spiced Latte. The food and drinks at Seva Table was packed with flavor, nutrients and no nasties. With the adjoining wellness center and yoga studio that offers various classes, Seva Table is a place where you can nourish your body, mind and soul.
