This weekend has been the most perfect and satisfying one in a long time. I also got to visit two amazing venues for lunch and one of them was an Italian eatery named Mercato Centrale.
Conveniently located in the Ground Floor of Burjuman Mall, Mercato serves authentic Italian cuisine that is made from the scratch using high quality ingredients.
Mercato reminded me of the cosy, quirky and rustic Italian eateries that I visited during my holidays in Italy. The venue is charming and has indoor and outdoor dining option.
The decor is pretty, we liked the beautiful tiles, wonderfully crafted earthy furniture and potted plants. This inviting space is a great venue for families, friends and colleagues for a good Italian meal or a sandwich or a cup of coffee.
Mercato also retails authentic Italian food products like olive oil, cheese, truffle, pasta, Italian biscuits, bread, pastries etc.
Their menu features wide range of food and beverages. The eatery is open from 7:30am to Midnight. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were happy to see many vegetarian friendly options.
Our culinary experience at Mercato started with freshly made Orange Juice and Pineapple Juice. As we were invited to the eatery, we were offered tasting portion of the dishes.
We tried a little bit of everything from cheese, focaccia bread, salad to panzarotti, Roman-style pizza, pastas and desserts. Everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. Even their coffee was excellent.
Our dining experience at Mercato Centrale was amazing. The food, the drinks, the ambience and the service was great. The portion size is a bit small and the prices are sensible.
