Renowned Indian restaurant and sweet & snack brand from India, Bikanervala has been our go-to Indian restaurant in Dubai for almost 17 years now. Now they’ve another outlet which is an upscale version of their traditional restaurant and it is located in the heritage district of Al Seef Dubai Creek. This new version and concept is called as Bikanervala Courtyard.
With the spectacular view of Dubai Creek and old Dubai, Bikanervala Courtyard offers indoor and outdoor dining area. The restaurant indoors is spacious with a perfect blend of modern and Indian interiors.
Bikanervala Courtyard serves only vegetarian food and their menu features chaats, South and North Indian cuisine, Chinese cuisine, Continental cuisine along with a vast selection of desserts and non alcoholic beverages.

We started off with their refreshing mocktail Watermelon Wonder. A meal in any Bikanervala outlet is incomplete without having their famous chaats. So we ordered Pani Puri and Dahi Puri. Both the chaats were lip-smackingly delicious and the flavors transported us to streets of India.

Next we had two starters- Sunheri Kurkuri and Dahi Ke Kebab. While Sunheri Kurkuri was a contemporary and creative appetizer, where as Dahi Ke Kebab had traditional and authentic taste. Nevertheless both the starters were good.

For our main course we ordered from their eco-meals or combo section of the menu. We went in for two of their popular combos- Amritsari Kulcha with Chole & Raita and Paneer Tikka Ajwani Masala with Butter Naan.
Both the combos were satisfying, delicious and packed with exquisite flavor. It was comfort in a plate. All their eco-meals are served along with salad and pickle.
Their desserts are the best, but after gorging on so much food, we didn’t have much room for dessert. So we shared Matka Kulfi, a traditional Indian ice cream served chilled in a clay pot.
As always we enjoyed our dining experience at Bikanervala. And Bikanervala Courtyard offers new dishes along with the old classics in a lovely setting.
