A. E. R the newest lounge and bar had a grand launch on 27th September 2019. Located in the Emirates Financial Towers in DIFC, A. E. R (An Experience to Remember) is a lounge and bar that serves food and shisha.
We visited them last evening and enjoyed our experience. Sprawled across an area of 20,000 square feet, A. E. R is a spacious and luxurious lounge with stunning view of Dubai skyline. At 100 feet, it houses the longest bar in Dubai currently.
This modern and uber chic venue is set over different areas with different themes. It has a lively and friendly atmosphere with great music. A perfect venue for a relaxed and fun evening with friends or colleagues.
A. E. R serves a variety of international dishes, inventive cocktails and amazing shisha flavors. It also houses a talented shisha artist. Their food menu offers everything from salads, starters to burgers, flatbreads, pasta, sushi, mains and desserts.
As a vegetarian I was happy with their veg options. Loved the fact that their menu caters to all kinds of taste buds and there is something for everyone.
We began with two of their innovative and refreshing cocktails- Miss Mangorita and Black Passion. The presentation, mix and flavor of the cocktails were on point. My friend tried their Watermelon flavored Shisha and liked it.
Our appetizers were crispy and irresistible Truffle Fries and delectable Roast Tomato Bocconcini. The Bocconcini was served along with freshly baked Pesto Bread.
For mains we ordered Vegetable & Cheese Sliders and Wild Mushroom and Truffle Risotto. Topped with roast garlic cream, pickled onion and gherkins, the sliders were delicious. It was served with a small portion of Fries. The risotto had an authentic taste and exquisite flavor.
Ended our evening with Cherry and Matcha Tart. It was served with Strawberry Ice Cream on the side. Compared to all the other dishes that we tried, their dessert was disappointing and it took 25 minutes to arrive.
We never expected such good food in a lounge and bar. A. E. R surprised us with great food. Our overall experience was fabulous. The drinks, the food, the shisha, the atmosphere and the service was top notch.
