Craving for something grilled? Then you should definitely try Back to Grills, a grill house concept that offers grilled food from around the globe. Opened six months ago in Oud Metha Road, Back to Grills serves grilled food and much more.
It is a quaint little restaurant with cosy and cheerful atmosphere that offers indoor and outdoor dining space. I loved the selection of songs that they were playing on their music system.
The menu of Back to Grills features a range of soups, salads, munchies, burgers, sliders, wraps, rolls, Asian bowls, sizzlers and grills along with desserts and drinks.

As a vegetarian I was not disappointed with the veggie options. Started off with a mocktail Melon Margarita that had a refreshing combination of melon, watermelon juice and fresh mint.
From their munchies section ordered the Peri Peri Salsa Fries. It was happiness in a bowl and oh-so-addictive. Liked the fact that they gave peri peri salsa in the side instead of adding it to the bowl. For a person like me who doesn’t like too spicy stuff, this was perfect as I could add a bit of salsa on top of the fries.
Next I had the delicious and flavorful Cream Cheese Almond Broccoli. It had chargrilled broccoli florets grilled to perfection with slivers of almonds.

For the main course, ordered from their sizzler section of the menu- Urban Tikka Masala. It was a generous and satisfying platter that consisted of succulent cottage cheese steaks, sweet peppers, walnuts, spicy tangy sauce, caramelized onion, rolls of soft Roomali roti and raisin Pulao.
A meal is incomplete without ending it on a sweet note. I had Grilled Peach Melba for dessert. Compared to all the delicious food that I ate in the restaurant, the dessert was a bit of a disappointment. It was served in a small bowl which made it difficult to dig in and the ice cream was too creamy. The grilled peach was tasty.
Overall, I enjoyed my lunch experience at Back to Grills and would definitely visit again and try the other dishes in the menu.
