Another Friday, another brunch and this time an authentic Arabic Brunch at the Jordanian concept Azkadenya located in the 1st Floor of Mercato Shopping Mall, Jumeirah. It was our first visit and to this Middle-Eastern eatery and we liked it.
Azkadenya is a casual dining Middle Eastern restaurant that offers authentic and traditional Middle Eastern cuisine with a modern twist. Whether you want to grab a quick bite or enjoy a relaxed meal with family and friends, Azkadenya is a great spot.
The interiors of the restaurant is tastefully done. We loved the vibrant decor and retro vibes. The Mercato Mall outlet is spacious with a charming outdoor terrace.
Every Friday from 12pm-4pm Azkadenya offers Friday Brunch, an authentic Arabic Brunch with live music, kids entertainment and unlimited dishes. You can expect buffet with live cooking stations.
The brunch is priced at AED 129 per person and it 50% off for kids below 10 years old.
We started off with fresh mint lemonade and then headed to the buffet. Their buffet offers most of the Arabic classics like cold and hot mezze, salads, freshly made Manakeesh, their signature eggs, grills, Baklava and few other delightful desserts.
The food offering was limited. I wish some of the dishes were hot. We liked their falafel, cheese rolls, batata harra, omelette and wheat pudding. Ended our culinary journey with a pot of green tea at the brunch.
Overall, it was okay. The service was a bit slow. If you’re looking for an authentic Arabic brunch on Friday in Jumeirah then Azkadenya is an option you may want to consider.
