Weekends are usually for brunches or late and relaxed breakfast. If we are not going brunching then we hit up a place which does breakfast till late. Last Friday we visited Crave Shack to try their new weekend breakfast menu.
Crave Shack is one of the new homegrown concepts specializing in seafood. They are located in the Ground Floor of Springs Souk.

The sea-inspired interiors of Crave Shack is gorgeous and every Instagram hipster’s dream come true. Its a well lit venue with natural light and simple yet beautiful decor. Its a great place to share a meal with family and friends.
As we were visiting them for breakfast, we didn’t go through their regular a la carte menu and directly delved into their weekend breakfast menu. The breakfast menu is limited with a total of five dishes.
The breakfast menu is available at Crave Shack on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30am till 12:30pm. All breakfast dishes are reasonably charged at AED 35 and served with a side of Coffee/Tea/Orange Juice.

We loved their freshly squeezed orange juice. The Crave Cake which is the pancake served with mixed berries compote and cinnamon cream was too dry. We also didn’t find it fresh.
Next we had the Scram ‘N Egg Popover and it had creamy scrambled egg in popover with roasted tomato vine. The scrambled egg was fine but wish the popover was a bit more moist.
We also ordered a dessert which was a Fudge Brownie with caramelized pecans, caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. It was super delicious and definitely worth ordering.
Though their coffee is machine-made, it was good.
Crave Shack’s breakfast menu requires a bit of improvement. The service, the atmosphere and the pricing is great.
