This weekend our shopping spree turned into a super fun affair as we stopped for a quick break to treat ourselves to goodies from the popular Khaleeji sweets outlet Sukkar. I’m happy to convey the good news that Sukkar has recently opened a second outlet in City Centre Mirdif.
What is different about this outlet is that, the menu is not restricted to only sweets and there are savory items too. This Sukkar outlet at Mirdif has an all-new identity and an exciting new menu that features all-day breakfast as well as new sweets and treats.
Located in the Level 1 of City Centre Mirdif, the interiors of Sukkar is cute and charming. It is a small venue with welcoming atmosphere. We sat in the cosy corner table and shared a tasty meal.
Their menu has breakfast specials, Sukkar specials, milk cakes, desserts, ice creams, milkshakes, cold and hot beverages.
We ordered Labneh Tartine and Mozzarella Pesto Tartine from their all-day breakfast menu. Freshly baked ciabatta bread was used for both these delicious and flavorful open-faced sandwiches.
Next we ordered Salted Caramel Brownie from their Sukkar specials. It had fudge brownie with salted caramel, ground lotus biscuits and vanilla ice cream. We loved this perfectly fudgy, moist and rich dessert.
As we are not fans of milk cake, we ordered Orange Cheesecake instead. It was a mini cheesecake which was creamy and delightful.
Freshly brewed Cappuccino and Cafe Latte were the drinks that we had. It was served with their signature chocolate in the side.
If you’re in Mirdif or visiting City Centre Mirdif, then you should definitely visit Sukkar.
