Parlour Boutique- Fabulous French Dining in Dubai

Parlour Boutique Dubai

I like all things French, especially the food and recently I discovered a classy French restaurant called Parlour Boutique in One Central at World Trade Centre in Dubai. On a laidback Saturday afternoon, decided to visit Parlour Boutique for a relaxed lunch.

Parlour Boutique is a super chic and charming venue with a contemporary setting. It has a coffee bar offering speciality coffee, bakery, lounge area and a fine dining restaurant.

My favorite part of the venue was the library space which had large communal table which is perfect for large groups. We sat in the restaurant section of Parlour Boutique.

Their menu offers breakfast, many dishes with contemporary French flair for lunch and dinner along with indulgent desserts, speciality coffee and refreshing drinks.

We started with two of their healthy and tasty mocktails- Jardin des Plantes and St Germain des Pres. Moving on to the food menu, we ordered the Soupe a l’oignon or the French Onion Soup. The soup was wholesome and had deeply savory flavor and taste. Every spoonful was amazing.

Next we had the Burrata Salad that had marinated cherry tomatoes, burrata, basil and olive oil. It was okay and not the best burrata I’ve had. I expected it to be a bit more creamier and super fresh.

Crudité Bowl was the other salad that we ordered. It is their signature salad and had quinoa, avocado, broccoli, kale, roasted sweet potatoes, beetroot hummus and sliced radish. The Crudité Bowl was not only nutritious, it was delicious too.

Their Baked Camembert came highly recommended and I’m glad that we ordered their utterly delicious Baked Camembert that was served with black currant jam, truffle honey and toasted bread.

Macaroni au gratin

Being vegetarians, we couldn’t order many of their meat-centric main course dishes. As our main dish we ordered Macaroni au gratin, they didn’t add the ham on request. It was comfort food at its best. We liked it. My request to them is to introduce at least two vegetarian dishes in their main course section of the menu.

Rose éclair

For dessert, we ordered three of their decadent desserts from the display counter- Rose Éclair, Pistachio Éclair and Caramel. All the three desserts were extremely good and absolutely delightful.

We ended our lunch with freshly brewed coffee-Piccolo and Cappuccino.

The food and beverages at Parlour Boutique was great. Even the plating, presentation and tableware was fabulous. The service was attentive and helpful. Our server Vivien was knowledgeable and helped us with good suggestions. My next visit will be with my family to try their breakfast menu.
