Last Saturday, we revisited authentic Indian restaurant Bukhara at Ajman Hotel after more than a decade. Bukhara, the award-winning fine-dining Indian restaurant has been popular in the UAE for its traditional and delicious North Indian food.
When we had dined there years ago, we had loved the food. Bukhara has launched a new brunch this summer, so we visited them to try their brunch that happens every Saturday from 1pm-4pm. The non alcoholic packages start from AED 150 per person.
Bukhara’s brunch features a lavish buffet and a-la-minute order. It offers good options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians.
The set-up of the restaurant is rustic yet regal. The beautifully crafted interiors will literally transport you to an era of grandeur during the times of Maharajah. Their open kitchen is a real treat as we could watch our food being prepared.
After being seated, we were offered Rose Lassi which we didn’t like and decided to have plain water instead.
Their brunch buffet had Soup, Salads, Chaats, many kinds of Starters, Mains like curries, vegetable dishes, meat dishes, biryani etc and a selection of Indian and international Desserts.
We tried a little bit of everything, their chaats were amazing, especially Pani Puri, Dahi Bhalla and Chana Chaat. We were also served a selection of Kebabs to our table along with Chole Bhature.
Their Dal Bukhara and Biryani tasted incredibly delicious and flavorful. And we were not disappointed with their dessert selection either. We liked their Gulab Jamun, Kheer and Ras Malai the most.
Overall, we liked the Saturday brunch at Bukhara. I only wish the venue was a bit more lively and cheerful. If you’re living in Ajman or Sharjah, you can visit Bukhara for their brunch as the food is really good and reasonable too.
