The Milk Cakes at L’eto Caffe is legendary, I had heard so much about them that I couldn’t wait to try and finally on Friday afternoon I visited them and not only did I try their divine tasting desserts, but also dishes from their lunch/dinner menu.
L’eto Caffe is a popular cafe in Dubai and there are three outlets in the city and I visited their newest outlet that is located in the stylish Fashion Avenue in The Dubai Mall.
The interiors of L’eto is tastefully done and looks very inviting. The Parisian inspired decor looks classy, chic and oh-so-gorgeous. From the chandelier to the furniture and tableware everything is pretty. The outdoor seating area offers the spectacular view of the Dubai Fountain.
They are known for their unique range of cakes and other desserts. Apart from that they’ve an all-day-breakfast menu, a wide range of food display and an a-la-carte lunch/dinner menu.
Their beverage menu offers cold and hot beverages. We ordered their Passion Fruit Mojito which is served with sparkling water separately. The mojito was too sour and we didn’t like it much.
As our starter, we ordered 3 salads from their display, which is reasonably priced at AED 85. You can choose whichever 3 salads you like from their display. The 3 salads we chose were-Honey Roasted Pumpkin & Kale Salad, Saffron & Tahini Yogurt Grilled Aubergine and Apple, Fennel & Caramelized Walnut Salad.
All the three salads were distinctly different, fresh and delicious. My personal favorite was the roasted pumpkin and kale salad. They’ve a good variety of salads and there is something for everyone.
For our mains, we ordered Porcini Mushroom Risotto and Spaghetti Al Pomodoro. The risotto was rich, creamy and fabulously delicious, where as the spaghetti was packed with flavor and great taste.
Now for our favorite part of the lunch which is dessert, we ordered Pistachio Milk Cake. It was super moist and utterly delightful. We also had the most amazing Chocolate Cake that was rich and tasted like a dream.
The cookies section in their display menu looked tempting and we ordered their soft and chewy Peanut Butter Cookie.
We ended our lunch with Piccolo Latte and Mocha Coffee. L’eto has speciality coffee and premium tea.
Overall, we enjoyed our lunch experience at L’eto Caffe. The food, the beverages, the service and the atmosphere is fantastic.
