Thali Lunch at Antique Bazaar- Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai

Antique Bazaar Bur Dubai

There are some restaurants that I visit again and again. One such restaurant that I’ve been visiting often is Antique Bazaar. The food has been consistently good, there is no dip in quality or taste whatsoever.

Located in the Mezzanine Floor of Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai, Antique Bazaar is an Indian restaurant that offers authentic and traditional Indian food.

Stepping inside the restaurant, you are transported into a different era. The Indian inspired decor looks beautiful. We liked the dark wood furniture, the bright upholstery and gorgeous paintings.

The restaurant is small and cosy. The tables are arranged very close to each other, wish it was a bit more spacious and roomy. There is a stage in the center for live Indian music. During lunch time there was sitar recital which enhanced our experience at the restaurant.

Antique Bazaar offers Thali Lunch Special that is available from Saturday to Thursday, only for lunch from 12:30pm to 3pm. Friday they’re closed for lunch.

The head chef at Antique Bazaar has curated a special menu with a variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian options, expect mouth-watering dishes. And their Thali is reasonably priced at AED 32 for vegetarian and AED 37 for non vegetarian. Big indulgence at a small price. The Thali lunch menu changes daily.

An Indian Thali is a traditional form of serving Indian food with a selection of appetizers, mains and desserts, all in one big platter.

Before our Thali could arrive, we were offered complimentary condiments like pickle, chutney, salad and poppadams. For our drinks we ordered Pudina Adraki Jaam and Mango Lassi. Both our drinks were freshly made and tasted amazing. The drinks are not included in the Thali lunch.

Our vegetarian lunch Thali consisted of a starter-Hara Bara Kebab, Salad, mains like Kadhi, Dal, Paneer Makhani, Mixed Veg Curry, Roti, Rice and Ras Malai for dessert. It is unlimited and if you want more of any particular dish, they will serve it again.

We enjoyed our sumptuous Indian Thali lunch, all the dishes were packed with authentic flavors and tasted delicious. Good food and drinks were complemented by flawless service.

If you’re looking for a good Indian restaurant in Bur Dubai side of the town, then you can consider Antique Bazaar.
