Dubai has some of the most amazing beach lounges, and I finally found a beach lounge that not only offers great atmosphere and party vibes but also good food. Last Thursday I got introduced to Cove Beach Dubai, a place I would like to visit again and again.
Located in the beautiful district of Jumeirah close to the iconic Burj Al Arab, you can expect a magnificent view of the Burj Al Arab and the Arabian Gulf.
Cove Beach Dubai is a lively and energetic beach lounge, bar and restaurant where you can enjoy a party vibe by the pool while the DJ spins music.
This outdoor lounge offers various kinds of seating arrangements from loungers to comfy chairs and cabanas. Cove Beach seems to be a popular place for Shisha, as the outdoor lounge was packed with guests enjoying Shisha.It also has a hip bar outside.
If you are not in a mood for outdoor lounging then you can sit indoors in their elegant and sleek glass walled restaurant. Done up in soothing hues of white, the restaurant boasts of a classy ambience. The restaurant also has a well stocked bar.
I thought beach lounges don’t offer great food except for some bar bites and drinks, but I was so wrong, Cove Beach Dubai surprised me by their delectable food offering. They’ve recently come up with a new menu which offers something for everyone.
We started with the drinks first. Cove has their own special Rosé Wine that is made exclusively for them in Provence, France. We loved the Château Barbeiranne and it was one of the best Rosé Wine that we had lately. Later we moved over to Pinot Noir.Their wine and champagne list is vast and extensive. They also offer a range of cocktails, mocktails and other spirits.
Before we could order our food, we were served complimentary platter of their homemade Bread.
As our starter we ordered, Edamame, Burrata and Summer Beetroot Salad.The Edamame was seasoned with sea salt and it was great to start our dinner. The Burrata with cherry tomatoes, olive oil, pesto sauce and rocket salad was fresh and tasty. Summer Beetroot Salad was excellent. It had roasted beetroot served with goat cheese , heirloom tomato, pistachio and basil. A definite must-try at Cove.
For our mains, we ordered their new Cheese & Truffle Pizza which had a thin crust pizza with four kinds of cheese topped with truffle. It was oh-so-yummy and light. We also ordered Asparagus Tagliatelle in pesto sauce that was full of exquisite flavor and taste. To go along with our mains we ordered a side of Grilled Avocado with Teriyaki which was good.
To sweeten our palate , we ordered their Lemon Meringue. This well plated dessert had almond crumble, mixed berries and yogurt ice cream. We relished it.
After indulging in a fabulous dinner, we ordered an Espresso Martini which gave us a caffeinated kick and we were ready to party. The martini not only looked good tasted great too.
We loved our entire experience at Cove Beach Dubai, from drinks to food to atmosphere, service and music. I think next I’ll come along with a bunch of friends for their popular ladies night.
