Friday Brunch at the Huddle Sports Bar and Grill- Citymax Al Barsha

Draught beer

Having been to the Huddle Sports Bar and Grill’s Friday brunch at the Mankhool branch, I was expecting something similar or better at their Barsha outlet in Citymax but the food was quite average. It is a buffet style Friday brunch that is reasonably priced.

Huddle Sports Bar and Grill is a sports themed bar where you can catch up with live sporting events on their large flat screens while enjoying their amazing selection of their beverages. Their à la carte menu features an array of comfort food and bar bites.

The atmosphere at Huddle is lively and energetic. They also have a live band. Its a cool and casual sports bar. Every Friday they offer a brunch from 12pm-4pm. They offer three kinds of packages. And their packages are reasonably priced and affordable.

As their is no space for buffet counters inside Huddle Sports Bar, the adjacent ‘City Café’ in the hotel is where the Friday brunch happens. City Café is Citymax Barsha’s all-day-dining restaurant.

For the Friday brunch, there was live cooking station. They serve international cuisine. You can expect everything from salads, cheeses, breads, starters, grills, mains and desserts in their buffet counters.

As we opted for the house beverages package, we ordered beer. Some of the dishes that we liked were the sprouts salads, chickpea salad, healthy drink shot, tomato bruschetta, mini caprese salad, fresh spring rolls, stir fried veggies, and freshly made waffles. The buffet is not a huge spread but it offers something for everyone.

All in all, the Friday brunch at Huddle Sports Bar and Grill at Citymax Barsha was okay. The quality of the food needs to be improved and more variety should be offered. The service was good though.
