Finally the long awaited winter season is here and that means it is time for al fresco dining, picnics and barbecues. Dubai’s winter season is one of my favorite time of the year as I indulge in many outdoor activities. I especially love barbecues during this time of the year.
The Terrace at Media Rotana recently launched BBQ Night. The Terrace is located at the Level 1 of the hotel. Every Friday evening from 8pm-11pm this outdoor lounge and bar has a BBQ Night.
We celebrated the weekend this Friday at The Terrace. It has chill vibes and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect way to relax and enjoy your Friday evening.
The Terrace lounge and bar is spacious with comfortable seating arrangement. In the center of the venue is their well stocked bar. The live DJ was playing groovy and peppy music. Its a must-visit place for all shisha fans as they offer great shisha.
What can you expect from the BBQ Night at The Terrace?
Apart from the energetic atmosphere, great music, amazing drinks and good service, you can expect live cooking, mouthwatering barbecue and an international buffet. They offer 2 packages and you can choose the package that suits you best.
As we chose the package with alcohol, we were given 5 coupons each. We could choose from bottled beers, house wines and regular spirits. We chose wine and also they had a sangria station where we could customize our own sangria. They make one of the best sangrias in town. We loved their fruity sangria.
Their buffet spread offered everything from salads to cold mezze to grills, seafood and steaks to shawarma, mains and desserts. We especially loved their garden salad, hummus, barbecue, sliders, Thai curry, Nasi Goreng and the oriental grill.
Our favorite was the live Saj station where we got our Saj bread made freshly. Their live barbecue was also a big hit with the crowd.
Last but not the least was their dessert selection. Their dessert section featured a range of international sweet treats from cakes, pastries, tarts, pudding to Arabic and Indian sweets. There was also ice cream, cheese and fruits.
The food was pretty decent and the pricing is quite reasonable. If you are looking for a barbecue night with shisha, music, food and drinks then The Terrace at Media Rotana is the right venue for you.
