Staycation at Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa

Staycation at Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa
Its been almost six months since I traveled and I was badly in need of a break, we couldn’t go on a family vacation due to my son’s upcoming exams. The best plan was to go on a weekend getaway here in UAE with my little girl. And we wanted to stay in one of the best resorts.

While visiting  Sharjah , couple of months ago, we had seen Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa from outside and liked the luxurious beachfront property and decided to book our stay for the weekend.

Located centrally in Sharjah, the Sheraton Beach Resort & Spa is just 10 minutes away from Sharjah’s rich cultural district and Sharjah International airport is 20 minutes away. The Emirate of Ajman is only a short walk from the resort.

This Arabesque inspired beautiful resort is an extensive and luxurious property. It is situated in one of the last remaining stretches of open, uninterrupted palm-fringed beaches in Sharjah. The resort has its own private beach and due to the central location, it is easily accessible to all the hotspots in the city.

From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly.

Lobby of Sheraton Sharjah
The lobby of the hotel had a blend of modern and traditional decor. Tastefully done up in hues of white and beige, the lobby area was elegantly furnished and looked inviting.

Sheraton Sharjah Resort & Spa is a 5 Star Hotel & Resort with good facilities. They offer various kinds of guest rooms and suites ranging in different size and style.

We stayed in the Deluxe Room with Balcony. We loved the Welcome Platter that featured various kinds of sweet treats and fruits. The welcome letter along with the platter added a special touch to our stay.

Our Arabian-style room was lovely and spacious. The Deluxe Room with balcony had facilities like:

Our room had a cosy little balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The balcony had the view of the swimming pool and beach. We spent most of our time in the balcony enjoying the stunning view.

Bathtub
The bathroom in our room was big. It had a bathtub as well as a separate shower area. It had all the bathroom essentials like bathrobes, towels, bathroom slippers, hair dryer and toiletries.

The resort offers facilities like two outdoor pools, private beach, spa, gym, club lounge, meeting rooms, banquet halls, gift shop, games room, kids club, Link Cafe, valet parking and free shuttle to Dubai.

The corridor of the floor where our room was situated was brightly-lit, sparklingly clean and welcoming.

The main attraction for us was their two swimming pools. We spent most our time there.

My little girl loved their kids club. She enjoyed playing with the toys and educational tools.

Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa offers 4 restaurants and 2 bars. We could only visit their all-day-dining restaurant Gusti as their other restaurants were closed due to Ramadan. We visited Gusti for breakfast and lunch. It offered a good selection of international dishes.

The other restaurants are Arjwan, a Middle Eastern restaurant, Marasea, a seafood restaurant and Al Qubtan an international restaurant. This Ramadan for Iftar and Suhoor, you can visit their Al Hosn Ballroom for a good buffet spread.

We enjoyed our stay at Sheraton Sharjah. The resort, the room, the amenities, the service and the staff were good. Whether it is for a short getaway or a long holiday, Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa is the best choice.
