My weekend plan included a visit to Yummy Belgian Waffles, a cafe specializing in authentic Liege waffles. Yummy Belgian Waffles is a popular Belgian waffles franchise that has outlets across Europe, North America, South Africa, Turkey, Hong Kong and mainland China.
They have four outlets in Dubai and I visited their Dubai Festival City outlet that is located in the Ground Level near Canal Walk.
Yummy Belgian Waffles is an elegant cafe with bright and colorful interiors with comfortable seating area. Gorgeous tea sets and various kinds of tiny figurines adorn the shelves of the cafe.
The waffles at the Yummy Belgian Waffles Cafe are prepared from the ‘So good’ waffle dough inherited from a 300 years of culinary tradition using the finest ingredients. These waffles can be enjoyed with a variety of toppings such as chocolate, caramel, honey, jams, ice creams etc.
Their menu offers a variety of waffles and crepes along with an extensive hot and cold beverage selection.
We started off with their mocktails- Lemon with mint Smoothie and Yummy Family Drink. Both our drinks were cool and refreshing. We were really impressed with their drink selection, not only did they offer their own signature drinks, they also offered mocktails, fresh juices, smoothies, shakes, ice cold drinks, frappé, soft drinks and hot beverages like coffee and tea.
Belgian Lotus Ice Cream is their signature waffle. It had crisp Liege waffle with lotus flavored sauce, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and crumbled lotus biscoff.
My daughter ordered their Kids Waffle, it had all her favorite ingredients. This waffle had strawberry sauce topped with colorful sprinkles. She enjoyed the Kids Waffle.
Next, we ordered their Zaatar & Cheese Crêpe. They have both sweet and savory crêpes. This crêpe was stuffed with cheese and sprinkled with fresh zaatar powder and served along with potato chips. We loved it.
If you are in the mood for waffles or crêpes then you should definitely visit Yummy Belgian Waffles at any of their outlet.
