Weekend Breakfast at Fume- Pier 7

Fume Dubai
How do you spend your weekend mornings? I am a early riser during weekdays and try to catch up on my sleep during weekends. And once I wake up late, I either make an elaborate breakfast at home or hit up one of those brunch spots in Dubai.

On Saturday, we decided to go out for a late breakfast. We had heard a lot of good things about breakfast at Fume restaurant. So my family and I drove down to Dubai Marina.

Located in the First Floor of Pier 7 in Dubai Marina, Fume is themed as a neighborhood eatery. And its quite popular in the neighborhoods of Dubai Marina and other localities close by.

Edgy decor
Here’s what Fume have to say about themselves:

The menu features uncomplicated, delicious yet refreshingly affordable food based on quality ingredients and served with passion in a relaxed, fun and vibrant environment. Fume celebrates traditional preparation methods that recollect flavorful childhood memories of comforting home-style cooking inspired by the great cuisines of the world.

The decor of Fume is cool, casual and chic. The industrial inspired decor gives it a bold, raw and edgy look. This family friendly restaurant offers stunning views of Dubai Marina. Its open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.

Their breakfast menu features a range of breakfast favorites like eggs Benedict, Omelette, pancakes, waffles, homemade granola, muesli, pastries, smoothies and more.

Breakfast table
For drinks, we ordered their freshly brewed Cappuccino and the kids ordered their pineapple, passion fruit and coconut based smoothie- Sunset Boulevard

We were happy to see our breakfast favorite-Avocado on Toast. Spinach, avocado and sumac was topped on sourdough bread and tasted absolutely delicious. Its usually topped with poached eggs, but we didn’t want the poached eggs. So they didn’t add the eggs.

Hubby ordered his breakfast staple which is an Omelette with cheese and veggies of his choice. It was served with a bread basket. The Omelette was well made and tasty.

The kids can’t do without Hash Browns and we had no choice but to order it. The hash browns were fluffy, crispy and delicious.

Next, we had the Waffles with mixed berries, whipped cream and caramel sauce. It was super crisp and scrumptious.

Finally, we ordered their popular Lotus Pancake. It had lavish Chantilly cream, caramelized bananas and garnished with a lotus biscoff. The Lotus Pancake was extremely delicious and a definite must-try.

We really enjoyed the breakfast and would love to come back again and try some of the dishes that we didn’t try. The only downside was the slow service.
