My quest for family friendly cafe in Dubai landed me at Qiso Cafe on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with family. Qiso is a penguin themed cafe, deli and food mart. Its a recently opened cafe offering healthy and nutritious food.
Located next to Premier Inn Hotel in Dubai Silicon Oasis, Qiso is open daily from 7am till 9pm. Its a good place for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
The interiors of this kid friendly cafe is simple, pleasant and minimalistic. The bright and cheerful vibe of the cafe is welcoming. There is a dedicated area for the kids where they can play with toys and read books.
The food mart in the cafe features a range of organic products. The deli offers a selection of healthy and nutritious salads, soups, sandwiches and more. Health junkies can indulge in their Cleansing Juices.
Everything in their menu is prepared daily, using fresh ingredients.
Drinks
From their Cleansing Juices section of the menu, we ordered Ginger Tonic. It had a blend of ginger, grapes, cucumber, apple with coconut water. The Ginger Tonic was refreshing.
The Cappuccino was perfectly brewed and served with Lotus Biscoff.
Salad
The Spring Salad was fresh and tasty. It had a mix of lettuce, orange, red grapes, dried cranberries, corn, cucumber, greens and feta.
Appetizer
Red Hummus Delight was unique and colorful. Three kinds of hummus was served with bread, carrot and cucumber sticks.
Mains
Country Sandwich was an open sandwich topped with labneh, sauté mushroom, avocado, cucumber and cilantro. It was served along with a special homemade dip and fries. Country Sandwich was light, flavorful and delicious.
Grilled Vegetable Medley was a grilled sandwich with veggies and cheese. It was served with a pesto dip. It tasted quiet bland and we didn’t like it.
Ravioli Romania was hearty, creamy and delicious. Qiso has a separate pasta section in their menu with a good selection of pastas.
Dessert
For dessert we ordered a scoop of Haagen Dazs Caramel Ice Cream.
Overall, we had a good experience at Qiso Cafe. Our daughter really enjoyed her time there. If you are in the Silicon Oasis neighborhood or close by, Qiso Cafe is a good dining option.
