Few days ago Sushi Counter opened its latest outlet in Bay Square and launched a brand new street menu. The opening of their new outlet was a fab evening filled with delicious food and marvelous entertainment. My friend and I had a great time.
This newest outlet of Sush Counter is situated at Bay Square in Business Bay. Sushi Counter offers a unique and creative approach to Japanese cuisine. You can expect good quality fast food at affordable prices.
Sushi Counter has an elaborate menu with good options. Its vegetarian and vegan friendly too. Being a vegetarian, I rarely come across a Japanese restaurant offering so many vegetarian options.
This outlet at Bay Square is small and cosy restaurant with an indoor and outdoor seating area. The decor of the place is cool and colorful. It has an energetic vibe.
After being seated, we went and picked up the organic Aloe Vera Drink to quench our thirst.
We were served Miso Soup, It was simple, tasty and had an authentic taste.
Next, we had the fresh and healthy steamed Edamame.
Arriving in our table next was a tasting platter with:
- Black veggie roll-It had carrots and cucumber rolled with mixed rice and topped with avocado.
- Baby eggplant sushi square-It was a sushi made with donburi mix, blue flowers, basil, black and white sesame seeds and topped with baby eggplant.
- Veggie burger-In the veggie burger the buns were replaced with rice and cheetos dust made the crust. It was stuffed with cucumber, avocado and creamy spicy sauce.
- Veg summer roll- This roll had a medley of veggies rolled with rice and iceberg lettuce.
We shared the hearty and wholesome Veggie Burrito between us. The rice burrito was stuffed with veggies and ceviche sauce. Crushed cheetos covering made it more delicious.
For desserts we had the divine tasting Coconut Snowball, scrumptious Warm Chocolate Cake and their Soft Serve Vanilla Ice Cream.
Sushi Counter is worth visiting. You can dine-in or do a takeaway or get it delivered.
