MYBC, a cool and contemporary cafe was relaunched this month and held a grand opening and I was one of the lucky few people invited to the grand opening. It was a fun afternoon with great food, drinks and art.
Located inside the open-air complex of Uptown Mirdif Mall, MYBC Cafe has a vibe of an urban cafe with edgy and modern interiors. This casual dining cafe features colorful murals on the walls, that is created by local street artists.
This cosy cafe offers indoor and outdoor dining space. Colorful chairs, artsy decor and chill vibes makes it a great spot to catch up with friends or work on your laptop.
The avid reader in me was thrilled to see a good collection of books in the cafe.
MYBC Cafe also offers a deli. Their menu offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. I liked the fact that they have a wide range of healthy drinks and food. Their menu also features paleo dishes, artisanal breads, fresh smoothies and juices, fine coffee and other hot beverages with some delectable bites.
For main course, I tried two of their healthy options- Beetroot hummus sandwich with avocado slices and raspberry and Gourmet vegan burger made with beetroot and buckwheat patty with pepper berry mayo. Both the dishes were served with salad.
You have many options for breads and buns to be used for sandwiches and burgers. My sandwich was made with pumpkin bread where as my burger bun was made with multi-grain bread. Basically you will get to choose the grain to be used in your bread. Both the dishes were wholesome, healthy and delicious. I especially liked the sandwich.
For desserts, I chose one healthy option and one not so healthy option. The healthy option that I chose was the Chia fruit yogurt with honey yogurt with chilled mango. You can have this tasty delight as a breakfast or as a dessert.
The super indulgent Lamington slabs with berry compote was fantastic. This Aussie cake made with sponge cake that is dipped in chocolate and rolled in desiccated coconut was moist, rich and utterly delicious.
