Say Holà to Espana the Hottest Nightspot in Dubai

Espana Restaurant and Lounge
Say holà to the newest and hottest nightspot in Dubai-Espana Restaurant and Lounge which had a grand opening on the 10th of March. I had the privilege of visiting them for a preview before the restaurant and lounge could open to the public. And also attended the grand opening.

Located in the lovely Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, Espana is a spacious restaurant, lounge and bar that offers authentic tapas, Spanish dishes and amazing cocktails.

Espana is a perfect spot for an unforgettable night out. The venue is inspired by the vibrant nightlife of Spanish cities like  Barcelona, Seville and Ibiza. The vibe of this place literally transports you to Spain. Its like a little slice of Spain right here in Dubai.

Spanish inspired decor
Stepping into Espana for the first time is like walking into an enchanting and magical land. Within the huge space, there are seamlessly laid out areas that reflect the eclectic and colorful Spanish decor and offer a myriad of options.

Espana offers different rooms like topsy turvy room, ladies only bar, sangria bar, outdoor terrace and various unique rooms.

Quirky decor
I loved the eclectic decor of the place, it is so unique and gorgeous. The whole place has been tastefully done up and looks very inviting.

When my friends and I visited Espana for dinner for the preview before the venue opened officially, we could only try their starters, tapas and dessert as they had not yet added main course dishes to the menu.

Sangria bar
But before we could start our dinner, we tried few of their cocktails like Mojito, Rosé  & white wine Sangria and Gin and Vodka based cocktails. Each and every drink was deliciously different. The mixologists at Espana are very skilled and creative and serve some of the finest drinks in town.

Padron peppers
Moving on to food, we were offered a platter of freshly made in-house Veggie chips-Crispy Amazonica. The chips were crisp and tasty.  It went well with our drinks.

Next, we were served Padron Peppers with sour cream, cream cheese and sesame oil. The delectable taste of the padron peppers had us asking for more.

Being a vegetarian, I couldn’t try their highly recommended Turkey Corquettes. But one of my friend tried it and found it extremely delicious.

Food from Seville
She also loved the Pollito Moruno which is a Spanish inspired chicken kebab. It had marinated chicken skewers served with homemade mojo sauce.

Sevillian Spring Salad had a medley of fresh veggies with parsley pesto and cheese and it was dressed in balsamic vinegar. This salad was simple yet delicious.

We were also served light and tasty Grilled Veggies with a refreshing pesto dip and sinfully delicious Baked Potato loaded with cheese.

The Empanadas were really good, they were stuffed with creamy cheese, corn and veggies.

Plum dessert
We had their signature dessert that goes by the name of Plum with a Twist. It came in a platter and looked like  a piece of art. Not only did it look good, it tasted scrumptious too.

We had a wonderful experience at Espana. The food, the drinks, the service, the decor and the ambience is outstanding.

Gracias Espana! I can’t wait to come back again.
