The recently opened Club Vista Mare is my favorite spot in the city for al fresco dining. This licensed establishment has amazing eating options. Having already visited Aji at CVM, I decided to try each and every outlet there. Italian cuisine being my favorite, I decided to visit Simply Italian first.

I totally agree with them. The decor of the place is uber chic with stunning paintings adorning its walls. The spacious restaurant has a bright and beautiful ambience. Its a great place to visit for a romantic date or with family/friends.
The restaurant also houses a well stocked bar and wood fire oven. The outdoor dining area overlooks the sea and offers magnificent views of the coast and the city.
Their menu offers traditional Italian dishes. Whether you are a vegetarian or a non vegetarian, Simply Italian offers great options.
A good Italian meal is incomplete without a glass of good Italian wine. Yes, we ordered a glass of Chianti red wine to go with our meal. Simply Italian offers a good selection of wines, fresh juices, soft drinks, hot beverages and other spirits.
Before our dinner could arrive, we were served a complimentary platter of freshly baked Bread.
Here’s the list of some of the dishes that we ordered:
Insalata Di Bietole, Formaggio Di Capra, Uva E Nocciole was the salad that we ordered to start off our dinner. It was a baby chard salad with goat cheese, grapes and hazelnut dressing. If you are a goat cheese lover like me, then this salad is a definite must-try.
We didn’t order a starter and instead ordered a pizza-Parmigiana. Their wood-fired oven pizza was loaded with deliciousness.
For our main course, we ordered two kinds of pasta. The first one was Tortelli Al Funghi Porcini, a fresh handmade porcini mushrooms tortelli pasta with cauliflower cream and truffle oil. Oh boy! It tasted incredible, we relished it.
Rigatoni Alla Sorrentina was the second pasta that we ordered. It contained Rigatoni pasta, fresh tomato sauce and mozzarella gratin. It was extremely delicious.
For desserts, we were recommended to order Semifreddo Al Capuccino by their manager. It was a dream of a dessert. Don’t ever leave the restaurant without ordering this dessert, it’s finger-lickingly delicious.
If there is one word to describe Simply Italian then its Simply Best. The food, the service and the ambience is excellent.
