Few days ago when it was raining in Dubai, I was longing to go to a beautiful place where I could sit by the window and watch the pitter patter of the rain. So hubby and I decided to visit Century Village and have lunch in one of the outlets there.
After reaching Century Village, we decided to have lunch at St.Tropez as we hadn’t visited that restaurant before. And also the retro inspired decor of St.Tropez appealed to us.
Nestled inside the gorgeous Century Village is the charming little bistro and lounge-St.Tropez. This bistro transports you to the shores of French Riviera with its chic and warm atmosphere.
The setting of St.Tropez is glamorous, trendy and very classy. The walls are adorned with numerous black and white photos of movie stars. It has simple yet elegant furniture, well stocked bar and cosy atmosphere.
It also has a lovely outdoor dining area with a beautiful view of the scenic Century Village.
The menu at St.Tropez is small and simple. It offers French specialty dishes. They are known for their steaks and foie gras. We had a three course meal from the chef’s signature menu. As we are vegetarians, you will get a grassy perspective of our meal.
First, we started off with drinks or cocktails to be more precise. While hubby sipped on Caipirinha, I had the Kir Royal. Both our drinks were absolutely delicious and well mixed. They also offer a decent variety of wines, cocktails, fresh juices and other spirits.
Next we were served a complimentary basket of bread, butter and olives.
We had Sautéed wild mushrooms as our starter. It had homemade sourdough bread topped with Sautéed wild mushrooms and rocket leaves. Perfect portion for one person and it was delicious too.
Second course
Roast mushroom and broccoli Risotto topped with Parmesan tulle was served as our main course. It was rich, creamy and tasty.
Third course
Finally for dessert we ordered their highly recommended Chocolate fondant. It was beautifully plated and served with vanilla ice cream and berry compote. The gooey centered chocolate fondant was scrumptious. Delicious way to end a great lunch.
We really enjoyed our lunch at St.Tropez, especially loved the fashionably tasteful decor. It’s a great place for a romantic date too.
Have you been to Century Village? If so, which is your favorite venue there?!
