The Brass-City Walk

Coffee and community
I love good coffee and I am always on a lookout for new coffee houses in the city. While  shopping at City Walk last week I came across The Brass and decided to visit it. I am so glad that I found this place, not only do they serve good coffee, they also serve delicious food.

The Brass is a home grown concept situated in the cool hub of City Walk. They also have an outlet in JBR. The Brass offers freshly roasted coffee. You can expect a rich selection of coffee blends, small but wonderful food menu and a beautiful atmosphere.

Coffee blends
The venue is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating area. The interiors of the place is bright with plenty of natural light. It also has a n earthy and rustic touch. I liked the feel of ‘East meets West’ in this place.

Read what their manifesto says about them:

Pride, love, craft; the core of  our existence. Do not ask me where I am from, ask me where I am local. Creative and cultured, a blend of heritage and authenticity. East meets West. My Dubai. Our differences unite us, one community, make it your own. We know good coffee and don’t settle for less. Feel the buzz, the warmth, the timeless glow; recharge your batteries, you’re at home. The hexagon, our badge, 6 sided, made of equal parts, reliable, harmonious.

All who wonder through here, The Brass belongs to you.

Stay and sip a while.

This is exactly the way I felt when I visited them. So beautifully explained!

As I visited the place along with a friend around early noon, we decided to have our lunch at The Brass. First we ordered our drinks. You have to order and pay at the counter, Starbucks style and the drinks and the food is served to your table.

Lavender honey latte
My friend is not a coffee person and she ordered a glass of iced tea-Happy Forest. It had a mix of hibiscus, rose hip, apple bits, grape and sour cherries. According to my friend, it was refreshing and delicious.

I ordered their signature coffee-Lavender Honey Latte. It had signature chocolate blend, lavender syrup and steamed milk. It was a perfect brew to warm my heart. Absolutely loved it.

Healthy salad
We started our lunch with Quinoa & Beets Salad. It was a healthy yet tasty salad. The portion size was big and can be easily shared between 2-3 people.

Four cheese sandwich
As our main course, we ordered two kinds of sandwich- Triple Cheese Panini and Halloumi Melt. All their sandwiches and flatbreads come with a side portion of homemade potato crisps and salad. Both our sandwiches were freshly made and packed with great flavor and taste.

Chocolate hazelnut brioche
Their bakery section offers a range of bakery products like croissants, muffins, cakes and more. For our dessert from their bakery section, we ordered a slice of Chocolate Hazelnut Brioche and Cheesecake With Figs

The Chocolate Hazelnut Brioche was filled with deliciousness and we devoured this decadent sweet treat. The Cheesecake With Figs not only looked gorgeous, tasted extremely tasty, rich and creamy.

Overall, we had a good experience at The Brass. It is a must-visit destination for all coffee lovers. I would love to go back and try all their different coffee blends and also try some of their amazing cakes. Many more outlets of The Brass will be open soon.

Whether you want to have a leisurely cup of coffee at the venue or coffee-on-the-go, The Brass has it covered.
