New Mezze Lunch Menu At Eat Greek Kouzina

Eat Greek Kouzina,Mall of the Emirates
Eat Greek Kouzina, the authentic Greek restaurant in Dubai has recently launched a Mezze lunch menu at all their outlets. Having already visited their Dubai Mall outlet for an elaborate dinner, I was excited to check out their new Mezze lunch menu. So I grabbed a friend and hit up their Mall of the Emirates outlet to see what they have to offer.

Located in the level 2 of the new expansion in Mall of the Emirates, Eat Greek Kouzina offers a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant is done up tastefully. We loved the earthy and rustic interiors, comfy seating and bright lighting.

Here’s a list of food that we ordered from their Mezze menu:

We started off with a round of soft drinks. Then we ordered couple of items from both cold and hot plates. We also shared a sandwich between us. The lunch Mezze doesn’t include desserts.

Tzatziki,Eggplant Salad
Cold plates

Tzatziki- No Greek meal is complete without Tzatziki. It is a Greek sauce or a dip made with Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic and olive oil. It was tangy and refreshing.

Eggplant Salad- The Eggplant salad from Eat Greek Kouzina is one of my favorites from the cold appetizers. I can have it daily. It contains roasted and smoked eggplant purée with peppers and herb.

We were served complimentary Bread along with the cold appetizers. The bread was freshly baked in-store and warm.

Hot Plates

Vegetarian Pastitsio

Vegetarian Pastitsio– It is the vegetarian version of the popular Greek Pastitsio. It’s a baked Greek-style Lasagna with veggies and cheese sauce. It was served hot, straight out of the oven. It was delicious comfort food at it’s best. We relished it.

Orzo with feta cheese
Orzo with Feta Cheese, Confit peppers & basil- This dish was excellent, can’t believe, we polished it off in minutes. We ordered this dish as per the recommendation of our server, we were not sure, whether we made a right decision as we had never had this dish before. It tasted deliciously divine, light and flavorful. I want them to add this dish in their regular menu, so that people get to taste and enjoy it, all the time.

Sandwich

Spicy Halloumi Sandwich

Spicy Halloumi Sandwich- We shared a Spicy Halloumi Sandwich between us. Compared to the other food that we ate in Eat Greek Kouzina, this sandwich was not that great. We found it bland and lacking in taste and flavor. But the chips that they served along with the sandwich was fantastic.

Overall, we had a good experience. The Mezze lunch menu is worth trying. Good food that is reasonably priced. You can expect efficient and flawless service. Have you tried the Mezze lunch menu at Eat Greek Kouzina?
