Staycation At Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel-Dubai

When it comes to hotels, Dubai has got a plethora of choices: be it a budget hotel, mid-range hotel or a luxury hotel in locations all across the city. I travel a lot, and when I am in another city and looking out for a hotel to stay, the most important thing I keep in my mind is the Location. The reason why I want to stay in the center of the city is due to the accessibility and convenience. And off course, the hotel has to tick all the right boxes(spacious room,good facilities, dining options etc) for me. I came across one such hotel in Dubai recently.

In the last week of August, just before the school reopened after the summer break, I had the pleasure of staying in Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel in Dubai on a weekend. My kids and I had a little vacation or staycation in Dubai, the city where we live.

Located opposite Burjuman Shopping Centre in the heart of the city, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel offers the perfect base to shop and explore. Whether it is a pleasure trip or a business trip, family trip or a trip with friends-Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel is the perfect destination for you. Burjuman Metro is 5 minutes from the hotel and Burjumam Shopping Mall is just 2 minutes away from the hotel.

The check-in went very smoothly, it hardly took time. While checking in, we were offered fresh juice.

The lobby of the hotel has chic and modern decor, the hotel itself has a contemporary look. The lobby area is furnished with comfortable and elegant furniture. The crystal chandeliers and marble flooring adds to the beauty of the place.

Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel is a plush 5 Star Hotel with top class facilities. They offer 386 guest rooms ranging in different size and style. Guests can have a choice of Superior Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, Burj Executive Suites or Burj Two Bedroom Suite. We were offered a Deluxe Room on the 15th floor of the hotel.

The Deluxe Rooms are located on the 11th to 16th floor. Our room was very spacious and it could easily house a family of 4. Our room had facilities like:

Our room was not only spacious and beautiful, it also offered a great view of Dubai from the long window. The decor of the room was tastefully done in light hues.

Our welcome platter was filled with fresh fruits, cheese and sweets. I was glad to see my favorite merlot wine in the welcome platter. The kids were happy to find the stuffed toys on the bed as a gift from the hotel.

The bathroom in our room was huge. Our designer bathroom was sparklingly clean and shiny with all the bathroom essentials like:

Hair dryer
Bath robes
Bathroom slippers
Toiletries like soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, shower cap, moisturizer, toothpaste, toothbrush, vanity kit

The hotel also offers extensive facilities like rooftop swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna & steam rooms, gymnasium, tennis & squash facilities, ladies salon, business centre, executive lounge, meeting rooms & banquet halls, gift shop and valet parking.

While going out of our room, we couldn’t help admiring the corridor of our floor. It was brightly lit up, spacious and neat.

Early in the evening we visited their Rooftop Swimming Pool. The pools looks very inviting, though I was not planning to take a dip in the swimming pool, I couldn’t resist it, and joined the kids in the pool. The view from the rooftop swimming pool is absolutely stunning.

Park Regis Kris Kin offers good dining options.

Kris With A View is their signature Pan Asian restaurant, located on the 19th floor. It offers panoramic view of Dubai, authentic Pan Asian food, gorgeous ambience and live entertainment. Le Metro is the hotel’s all day dining restaurant. It offers buffet selection for breakfast and lunch. They have an exciting a la carte menu in the evening. We had a relaxed breakfast at Le Metro. Marhaba is the coffee lounge located in the lobby of the hotel. It offers a wide selection of homemade pastries, snacks, chocolates, mocktails, juices, coffee and tea.

The Grandstand is the hotel’s sports bar and restaurant. It offers music, drinks and bar food.

Club Seven is the night club in Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel. You can expect a lively atmosphere with good music, extensive cocktail list and delectable food.

We had a wonderful stay in Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel. The service, the staff and the facilities were outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for a better staycation than this.
