Bodega Garage was launched on the 20th of April in Holiday Inn, Al Barsha. This latest addition to Dubai’s night life scene is a Filipino night club- Bodega Garage @ The Q Underground. The catchy tag line ‘Park Urself At Bodega Garage’ adds a fun factor to the club.
I was invited to the launch event of Bodega Garage, but I couldn’t make it to the launch and hence I visited them couple of weeks ago with hubby.
What is Bodega Garage about?
Bodega Garage is a casual, cool and chilled out Manila style night club. It offers music, live band, karaoke, pool table, dart, food and drinks in a relaxed and lively atmosphere.
Bodega Garage is a spacious club with a nice well stocked bar, ample seating area and a big stage for live performance. This creatively done up place has a chat up room outside. The purpose of the chat up room is to enjoy having a conversation without loud music. The decor of the chat up room is cosy and comfy. We loved the quirky and funky walls.
The live band starts at 9:30pm. As we started our evening at 9:30, we enjoyed the live wire performances of the highly talented and energetic band. They were playing rock music as well as the latest radio hits. We also requested some Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi songs. I must say they did a great job. The band itself made us stay longer than usual. It is so important to have good band in a night club and the band at Bodega Garage is amazing.
What kind of food and drinks can you expect?
Bodega Garage offers Filipino and Continental cuisine. Their drinks menu consists of cocktails, mocktails, fresh juices,soft drinks, beer, wine and other spirits.
Hubby had his usual beer, where as I tried two of their cocktails- Classic Martini and Cosmopolitan. Both the cocktails were refreshing.
They offer most of the favorites from Filipino cuisine as well as continental cuisine.
We were served roasted peanuts in a small gunny sack to start off with.
We ordered Crudités, Potato Wedges and Vegetarian Pizza. It was okay, the usual pub grub that you find in most of the clubs in Dubai.
We were served Cherry Cheesecake for dessert. It was rich, creamy and extremely delicious.
Would I want to park myself again at Bodega Garage?
Definitely yes! Fun atmosphere, great music, top notch service, good food and drinks. This creatively conceptualised club is a good option to all the club goers in town.
Bodega Garage also offers happy hours and theme nights.
