1762 Smoked Launched-Taking Dubai’s Culinary Scene To A New Level

Dubai’s dining scene is on a roll. Every day there is something new and different. On 10th of May I was invited to a very unique event-The launch of 1762 Smoked by 1762 Deli.

1762 Deli, is a concept created by husband and wife duo- Manar and Suzi Al-Jayoushi. 1762 Deli has 3-4 outlets around Dubai.

By introducing 1762 Smoked or Monty The Bus, they’ve taken Al fresco dining in Dubai to a new level. Monty is a restored old London Routemaster bus from 1966. This double decker bus called Monty has been restored and refurbished and transported to Dubai.

Monty is a perfect centerpiece for sporting events, private parties, corporate gatherings, weddings etc. It is a new  addition to Dubai’s Al fresco fine dining scene.

This food bus is fully equipped, they even have a meadow creek smoker to create charred items. You can expect a versatile and creative menu from them.

1762 Smoked will feature menu items such as slow cooked Asian beef ribs and truffle mash, Jamaican jerk chicken, falafel crusted calamari with mango aioli, smoky chargrilled corn with jalapeño lime butter, pineapple papaya salsa and herbed couscous.

I got to try their Parmesan truffle fries, Pommes frites with salted caramel sauce, Churros s’mores, coffee and botanical sodas. If I have to describe them in one word, it will be-Awesome.

1762 Smoked or Monty is available for private hire, special events and parties or even for urban markets. Expect to see Monty at all the cool spots in town. If you  are looking for a  latest catering company which offers meals on wheels in a fine dining atmosphere in Dubai, give them a try.
