The holy month of Ramadan is just around the corner and I have been invited to quite a few Iftar previews in Dubai. The Iftar preview at Constellation Ballroom at ‘The Address Dubai Marina’ is one of the best Iftar preview that I’ve been to recently.
Constellation Ballroom is located on the 4th floor of the Address Dubai Marina. It is a vast and spacious ballroom and it can easily accommodate 400 guests.
The setting of the ballroom is elegant, modern and luxurious. The Ramadan vibe is immediately felt from the entrance itself. The colorful lanterns looked wonderful. The Arabian inspired decor-from chandeliers, upholstery to lighting and furniture was gorgeous and inviting.
The Iftar at the Address Marina caters to everyone from families to business community. Setting the mood will be a traditional Oud player as you indulge in a grand Iftar buffet.
The Iftar buffet offers a huge and lavish spread. Not only do you get to choose from extensive selection of Arabic cuisine, their Iftar buffet also offers wide range of international cuisine. You will be spoilt for choice.
The Iftar buffet includes traditional drinks like Jalab, Kerkade, Laban, Mint and Tamarhindi.
As soon as you enter, you will get a welcoming sight of Dates Counter. The variety of dates are amazing. There were other dry fruits offering like apricots, figs, almonds etc.
The buffet offers a large selection of Middle Eastern favorites. Some of the traditional options to look out for- Lamb Ozi, Cold and Hot Mezze, Mixed Grill Station that includes Shish Kebabs, Shish taouk, Meat Kofta and much more.
The Salad Counter offers all kinds of salads from simple salads to exotic ones.
The East Asian Food Station had cuisines from China, Japan and Thailand. You can expect freshly made noodles, dim sums to sushi and sashimi.
The Indian Food Station was impressive. It had all the Indian favorites like Chicken tikka, Rogan josh, Dal makhani and biryani.
I was so delighted to find a Mexican Food Station where the chefs were making fresh tacos and quesadillas on the spot.
There were various kinds of Bread Station- from international breads to traditional Arabic bread.
The Dessert Station offered a selection of traditional as well as international desserts. There was a separate station for fruits and ice creams. I was so thrilled to find a live station making my favorite Emirati sweet Logaymat.
An Iftar meal is incomplete without traditional hot beverages like coffee and tea. The Moroccan tea was a huge favorite with most of the guests. I ended my meal with a strong and flavorful Arabic coffee.
I had a fantastic experience. Everything about it was perfect-the food, the hospitality and the ambience. I can’t wait to come back again.
