Art Breakfast At Dusty’s

Recently I was invited to ‘Art Breakfast’ at Dusty’s. The breakfast meeting was hosted by renowned Palestinian artist Jeffar Khaldi who has incorporated his unique artwork within the interiors at Dusty’s. It was an amazing morning filled with great coffee, good food, lovely company and stunning artwork.

It was my first time at Dusty’s and I had heard a lot of good things about it from my friends. After the invitation I was counting days to visit Dusty’s. I must say I am pretty impressed by it.

Dusty’s is located in the level 1 of Al Fattan Currency House, DIFC. The DIFC area is my favorite dining spot and I frequent it regularly, so it was very easy to locate Dusty’s.

Dusty’s offers indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating in the terrace garden is beautiful and very different to the indoor seating.

We were seated indoors for our Art Breakfast. Dusty’s has such a New York City vibe to it, it reminded me so much of the funky and kitschy gastropubs that I have visited in New York. Dusty’s has a gorgeous interiors- any art enthusiast will be impressed by it.

The interiors at Dusty’s cleverly incorporates the work of international artist Jeffar Khaldi. Jeffar has used his vision of contemporary art to express the vibes at Dusty’s through his intriguing modern collages located throughout the venue. I loved the eye catching artwork. It adds vibrancy to the place. I need to give a tip here-‘Do visit their washrooms, you will be stunned by the wonderful artwork of Jeffar Khaldi inside.’ All the art lovers can check out Jeffar Khaldi’s artwork at Meem Gallery and  Gallery B21.

I can’t think of my morning without coffee. I was offered a hot cup of Cappuccino. It was strong and perfectly brewed.

We were served freshly baked plain Croissants .It was buttery, flaky and soft. It had a nice ‘melt in the mouth’ quality.

After that we were also served Homemade Granola with Yogurt and Fresh Fruit Salad.

Dusty’s offers coffee, tea, fresh juices and smoothies in their breakfast menu. I had a glass of freshly juiced Watermelon Juice. It was refreshing.

I also ordered French Toast, it was served along with fruit compote and maple syrup. The French Toast had a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. I dunked it generously with the maple syrup and fruit compote. It was fantastic, I relished it.

Dusty’s also offers business breakfast. Their breakfast menu consists of bakery items like muffins, croissants, bagels and Danish pastries. They also serve a variety of sandwiches and breakfast favorites like Eggs Benedict, Scrambled eggs,French toast, Omelette, Belgian Waffle and more.

Dusty’s menu is simple and straight to the point. It is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is a good choice for business meetings and friend meet-ups. It is like a cafe in the morning and a gastro bar in the evening. Dusty’s is a place where art meets food. It is a cosy place to hang out and soak in the amazing artwork. The atmosphere is uber cool and relaxed. The food is good, the service is great, the ambience is gorgeous. I am definitely coming back again.
