Just read my all time favorite romance novel again. I must have read the Love Story countless times. And every time it has the same effect on me-it reaches out into the depths of my soul. This profoundly moving book made me laugh and made me cry. The book celebrates life and true love. It is a beautiful and timeless romance novel. Love Story is a must read for all the hopeless romantic.
Love Story is written by American writer Erich Segal. It was published in 1970 and instantly became a best seller in United States. It was translated into 20 languages. The book was also made into a movie.
It is a funny, simple,romantic and tragic story. The storyline is quite simple- it is about two young people falling in love and getting married. But instead of having a happily ever after ending, it has a sad ending.
It is beautifully written and a very touching story. Make sure to keep a box of tissues near you when you are reading this book. It definitely is a tear jerker.
