Our journey to Yosemite valley began by road. We drove from San Francisco to Yosemite. Our home for the next two days was Yosemite View Lodge. This lodge was the perfect choice as it was steps away from the entrance to the National park. A big pat on the back goes to my husband for choosing this wonderful place to stay.

We started exploring the park by first visiting Yosemite village. We went to the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center and picked up our maps and all the information. You can ask for more information about the park from the helpful and friendly park rangers.
After that we proceeded to Yosemite Museum and the reconstructed Indian Village of Ahwahnee.
