International Buffet at Centro Sharjah by Rotana

Centro is a  Modern, stylish and affordable lifestyle business hotel by Rotana, a well known and successful hotel group in the region. Centro is the best place to stay for budget conscious business traveller. It offers finesse and functionality at reasonable rates. Centro Sharjah is a destination for the smart travellers on an affordable budget, but who don’t want to compromise on style, quality and service.

C. Taste is a restaurant in Centro Sharjah. Centro Sharjah is located adjacent to Sharjah International Airport and it is a good choice to stay for travellers due to it’s proximity to the airport. Getting to the hotel is a bit tricky as google maps does not show the correct direction to the hotel. Take the exit to the Sharjah International Airport, before the arrivals at the roundabout take a left and then follow the directions to the hotel.

It is a place where people from other emirates can think about coming for a weekend getaway.

Cento has two dining outlets, C.deli and C.taste. C. deli is open 24 hours.C. taste is all day dining restaurant that offers buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

C.taste offers a great spread of international food. They also have themed nights on the weekdays and international food buffets on the weekends.

I went to their international buffet for dinner on Saturday. It was my first time at Centro Sharjah and I was really impressed with the chic and contemporary hotel.

C.taste has a modern feel to it. The ambience is nice and lovely. It has  a relaxed atmosphere, contemporary decor and  comfortable seating. It is very spacious.

I was really impressed with the huge spread. There was soup, salads, appetizers, wide variety of main course, breads and desserts. They also have a la carte menu, in case you decide that you don’t want to go for buffet. They also have cold and hot beverages.

We started of with a fresh watermelon juice. Then we went straight to their buffet station. We tried their vegetable soup with noodles. We liked it.

Then we went to their salad station. I was really impressed with this counter, they had amazing and good variety. We literally tried everything, we liked their cold mezze, mixed salad, Caesar salad, Greek salad etc.

The appetizers were kebabs, cheese sambousak etc. The main course had a eclectic mix like biryani, pasta, Cajun vegetables, vermicelli au gratin, seafood and meat etc. overall a good variety, but it would be great if they could add more vegetarian dishes.

The dessert station was awesome. The variety was huge and tempting. We tried most of them and they were really delicious and tasty. I especially loved the Arabic dessert Umm Ali.

I also got to try paneer Makhani with Roti. It was ok. The service is good. The pricing is very reasonable for the variety they offer.

Below is the listing of their theme nights.

Sunday Italian Night-Dhs 115 per person

Monday Indian Night-Dhs 99 per person

Tuesday Mediterranean Night-Dhs 115 per person

Wednesday Barbecue Night-Dhs 125 per person

Thursday Seafood Night-Dhs 125 per person

Friday-Saturday International Buffet-Dhs 99 per person

I would say great buffet, good food, unlimited and affordable in a lovely and lively atmosphere. It is worth trying.

A different destination for people from other emirates as well as people of Sharjah. C.taste located at Centro Sharjah is a place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I am planning to go for their Italian Theme dinner next month.
