Sugaholic is a bakeshop specializing in customized cakes. They are located in Karama, behind Yoko Sizzlers. It is very easy to locate them. When you are in that road you cannot miss this place. It is a bright and beautiful spot in that area.
I was invited to Sugaholic for cake tasting session. I was happy that I was visiting the place finally. As one of my friend had gifted me a box of their cupcakes before and I had liked it and planning to visit them and check out their other cakes.
Sugaholic is owned by two creative and talented young ladies. The fact I loved the most about Sugaholic is that they don’t use preservatives and use only fresh products. The cakes tastes like home baked cakes.
The interiors of Sugaholic is bright,cheerful, colourful and beautiful. It has a happy feel to it. As soon as I entered, it brought a smile on my face. I loved the small creative details like the door handle, pictures pasted on the board and the comments of the customers written on Paper and stuck on the wall. The furniture is cute, I especially loved the swing.
I got to try their best sellers as well as their new creations at my cake tasting session. These are some of the cakes that I had:
Nutella cake slice
Vanilla Butterscotch cake slice
Pistachio Rose cake
Red Velvet cupcake
Nutella Cheesecake
It is tough to choose one among them as my favorite. Each one of them were different and delicious in their own way.
I am a big fan of chocolate cakes and just loved their Nutella Slice cake. It was creamy, not dry and just perfect. The Vanilla Butterscotch cake slice was very sweet and moist. It just melted in my mouth. This is a cake for sweet lovers or for those who love their desserts very sweet. I fall in this category and I relished it.
The first thing I asked when I entered the place was whether we will be having their famous Pistachio Rose cake. I was delighted when I got to try it. This cake is light,not very sweet and definitely going to surprise you with the subtle flavor and taste. It is a must-try. After that I got to try their red velvet cupcake. It was good, but I am not a big fan of red velvet cakes.
Lastly, I got to try their new addition, the Nutella Cheesecake. I am sure the Nutella lovers Will love this. This decadent cake is made with Nutella cream cheese filling topped over a layer of Biscuit base.
Sugaholic offers cakes,cupcakes and cake pops. They also make eggless and gluten free cakes. They do amazing customized cakes.
The pricing is very reasonable and affordable for their high quality cakes. I would love to recommend this cake heaven to everyone. Sugaholic offers delicious, tasty, fresh, preservative free and affordable cakes. I can’t wait to go back again.
