The book of this month on my blog is The Five People You Meet In Heaven by American best-selling author,columnist,playwright,radio and television broadcaster,musician and screenwriter Mitch Albom.He is one of my favorite authors,his books have always inspired me.
Mitch Albom’s books have sold over 35 million copies worldwide.He started his early career as a sports writer.But he is best known for his inspirational stories.Mitch Albom’s first breakthrough book was ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’.
The Five People You Meet In Heaven was published in 2003,after the success of Tuesdays with Morrie.The Five People You Meet In Heaven sold over 10 million copies and also made it to the New York Times best-seller list.It was also made into television movie.
The Five People you meet in Heaven is a wonderful,thought-provoking,extraordinary and Marvelous book.No wonder,it stayed for 95 weeks on New York best seller list.
It is not a religious book,please don’t be mistaken by the title.The book deals with fate,death,life and how everything you do,can affect somebody else.It is a miracle of a book and has the power to stir,provoke and comfort the readers.This book will Definitely touch your soul.
This book is an inspirational and philosophical fiction.The book is about an old Man named Eddie,who dies in a tragic accident trying to save a little girl from being killed by an amusement park ride that is about to fall.He is killed and sent to heaven.There Eddie meets five people who significantly impacted him while he was alive.
This book is a must read for everyone,whether you believe in Heaven or not.The book has made me wonder,which five people I will meet,when my time is up.This book has made a huge impact on me.I will finish my write-up with couple of quotes from the book.
