Hola! I am happy to report that I discovered an amazing Spanish restaurant and tapas bar recently. The name of the venue is Lola Taberna Espanola and it is located in TRYP by Wyndham Barsha Heights.
The venue is spacious with indoor and outdoor dining area. The Spanish inspired decor will transport you to the bustling streets of Barcelona. Lola Taberna has lively and vibrant vibes.
Lola Taberna pays tribute to Spanish cuisine and culture in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. With food cooked from the heart, it brings long Spanish family lunches that turn into dinners.
On weekdays from Sunday–Thursday at 1pm until 4pm Lola Taberna offers Business Lunch/Menu del Dia. Menu del Dia or menu of the day is served by Spanish restaurants during lunch. It is one of the largest meals of the day in Spain. Spanish people typically eat five meals a day, comida meal being the largest when the menu del dia is served.
Lola Taberna offers 2-course meal for AED 69 per person and 3-course meal for AED 89 per person for business lunch. Both the courses are reasonably priced and the portion size is good.
We tried the 3-course meal and enjoyed our starters, mains and desserts. We got to try dishes like Salmorejo, Asparagus with Romesco Sauce, Paella and dessert like Churros and Cheesecake. We were also offered complimentary Bread basket along with olives and dip.
The food was authentic, flavorful and tasty. Even the Red Sangria that we ordered was perfect. Our overall experience of the business lunch at Lola Taberna was great. Definitely would like to visit again and try their a la carte menu.
