Iconic Thai Restaurant Benjarong Recrafted

Benjarong Thai Restaurant in Dusit Thani Hotel in Dubai is one of the longstanding restaurants in Dubai. It has been around for almost two decades. In the ever-changing restaurant scenario in Dubai, few things remain constant, like Dusit Thani’s signature restaurant Benjarong.

But recently Benjarong had a complete makeover and looks brand new and different. We were among the first ones to experience Benjarong #Recrafted and I must say it looks absolutely stunning.

Located on the 24th Floor of the hotel, it boasts of a magnificent view of the city’s skyline. The new setting of the restaurant is contemporary and chic with casual luxury vibes.

Benjarong now offers a separate bar and lounge area along with ample dining space. On a Saturday afternoon we visited them for lunch and enjoyed a delicious Thai meal. It was an immersive and memorable experience.

After being seated we were offered Rice Crackers with dips. Generally they offer prawn crackers, but as we were vegetarians they offered us rice crackers.

While going through the menu our drinks arrived. As it was afternoon we had Beer, their beverage menu offers a range of wines, beers and other spirits along with cocktails and mocktails. They also serve hot beverages.

Our lunch consisted of everything from soup, salad, appetizer to mains and desserts. The Tom Yum Soup was comfort in a bowl. The spicy Som Tam Salad was freshly made on our table side and it had the authentic Thai flavor.

The Vegetable Spring Rolls served with sweet plum sauce was utterly delicious and moreish. For our mains we had Pad Thai, Green Curry, Pad Pak Ruammit and Jasmine Rice.

We enjoyed the mains, the highlight of our lunch was the green curry. It is the best green curry in town without any doubt.

Ended our lunch with two of their most amazing desserts Tab Tim Krob and Coconut Crème Brûle.

Benjarong takes Thai food to another level with authentic dishes presented in a modern style. All the dishes were presented beautifully. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the service and the view is top notch. We can’t wait to be back!
