One Life Kitchen and Cafe- Dubai Design District

Stumbled upon One Life Kitchen and Cafe on our visit to the uber cool Dubai Design District last Saturday. One Life is a cafe, restaurant, coffee roasters, catering company, a co-working space and a place where you can host community events.

Established in 2016, it is one of the most popular venues in D3, I don’t know how I missed visiting them in all these years. Glad that I finally discovered this great place.

Sprawled across two floors, One Life offers indoor and outdoor dining area with an open kitchen downstairs. Their food counter looks inviting and we loved the range of salads on display. On the upper floor they roast their own speciality coffee.

Upstairs has an area dedicated to co-working space as well as to host community events. Now coming to the food, One Life has an à la carte menu, all-day breakfast menu, food display counter with salads, sandwiches, cakes and desserts along with cold and hot beverages.

One Life is a kid-friendly venue and they offer kids menu too. They offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

To eat we ordered from their a la carte menu and we had the Vegan Sandwich, Going Back to Pali, Mucver and Red Thai Curry with steamed white rice.

We started off with Super–Kale-A-Fragalistic to drink. It was a smoothie made with kale, banana, cashew, dates and almond milk. I enjoyed their healthy and tasty smoothie.

The sandwich was super healthy yet oh-so-delicious, Going back to Pali was a wholesome and nutritious dish. Mucver was the comforting zucchini fritters served with Tzatziki. Our favorite was the spicy and flavorsome red Thai curry.

Each and every dish was fresh and packed with exquisite taste and flavor. Their portion size is big, so we didn’t order any dessert. We ended our lunch with their freshly brewed Speciality Coffee.

Our overall experience at One Life Kitchen and Cafe was fabulous. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere and the service was amazing. I can’t wait to visit them again!
