I love biryani and it is my ultimate comfort food. At least weekly once I either order biryani or I make it at home. Couple of days ago I was in a mood for biryani for lunch and I didn’t have the time to make it and I decided to order from outside.
While searching on the Zomato app I came across Chennai Kadai Biryani and I thought I’ll give them a try as I had never ordered or visited them before.
Chennai Kadai Biryani is a small South Indian restaurant located in Karama and their speciality is Chennai-style biryani. They offer chicken, mutton, veg and egg biryani in various quantity. Their menu also has couple of starters and soft drinks.
Being a vegetarian I ordered Paneer 65, Chili Gobi and Veg Biryani along with a soft drink. The paneer 65 was neither soft nor succulent whereas the chili gobi was tasty. Coming to the veg biryani, it was a bit spicy nevertheless it packed a flavorful punch. I enjoyed the biryani.
Overall I liked the food and the pricing is pocket friendly too. The packaging was good, the biryani comes in a bucket with a closed lid and stays hot for a long time. The thing I didn’t like was that the delivery was not on time.
