Comfort Food at Nukkad Pe Bhukkad

Nukkad Pe Bhukkad

Today I was craving for comforting Punjabi-style Indian food and Indo-Chinese food and decided to order food online. Recently while driving across Karama in Dubai I discovered a small joint called Nukkad Pe Bhukkad and thought of giving them a try. So I ordered food from them.

Nukkad Pe Bhukkad is a small, cosy and colorful restaurant offering Punjabi-style desi Indian food and Delhi-style Indo-Chinese cuisine. You can dine-in or do a takeaway or order online through any of the food delivery apps.

They are open from 10am in the morning till late in the night. Their menu features a wide range of dishes and there is something for everyone.

We ordered Veg Momos, Veg Desi Chowmein, Bhel Puri, Grilled Chili Cheese Sandwich, Kadhi Pakora with Rice, Amritsari Thali, Delhi Special Shikanji and Ginger Tea.

The momos were tasty but a bit spicy, the desi Chowmein packed a flavorful punch. Bhel puri had the authentic Indian street food taste and the grilled chili cheese sandwich was excellent.

Kadhi pakora was disappointing as it was too oily. Loved the Amritsari thali and it had 2 huge butter parathas, salad, paneer do pyaza, chole and gulab Jamun. The delicious food was washed down with refreshing Delhi special shikanji and ginger tea.

We enjoyed the food from Nukkad Pe Bhukkad. The delivery was on time and the packaging was good. The portion size was generous and the pricing is reasonable.
