Say bye bye to dining out and say hello to dining in. As there is no sign of the pandemic going away anytime soon, food delivery has become very popular. The favorite question of my family these days is ‘where do we order the food from?’
Since last couple of months we were only ordering Indian, Italian, Chinese or Mexican cuisine, so we needed a change. Made a decision to try Middle Eastern cuisine and ordered from Farouj Fawaz.
Located in Dubai and Sharjah, Farouj Fawaz is a Syrian restaurant and cafeteria. As we live in Dubai, we ordered online from their Barsha branch.
Farouj Fawaz is a great place for meat lovers and there is limited options for vegetarians like me. Nevertheless I ordered few vegetarian friendly dishes from their menu and had a satisfying meal.
Their menu features cold and hot mezze, salads, shawarma, sandwiches, broasted chicken/fish, shish taouk and combo meals along with cold beverages.
We had Lentil Soup, Arabic Salad, Fattoush, Coleslaw, Hummus, Garlic Sauce, French Fries, Fresh Broasted Potato, Cheese Sandwich and Arabic Bread along with veggie pickles and dips.
The portion size of the food was big and everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. We enjoyed the authentic Syrian food from Farouj Fawaz.
The delivery was on time and the packaging was good. Liked the fact that the pricing was reasonable and affordable. If you like Middle Eastern cuisine, you can definitely give Farouj Fawaz a try!
