Kobeya Kitchen- Gluten Free Japanese and Far Eastern Restaurant in Dubai

Our Friday lunch was special this week as we visited Kobeya Kitchen UAE’s first gluten-free Japanese and Far Eastern restaurant and retail store located in Wasl Vita Mall.

Kobeya is a unique concept that offers gluten free healthy food. Their menu caters to all kinds of taste buds. As the name suggests their menu features Kobe beef, the highest quality and healthy red meat.

The venue is spacious with tastefully done decor in pastel and white color. Loved the serene and beautiful atmosphere, a great place to dine with family and friends.

Open on all days of the week, Kobeya Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have kids menu. Their lunch/dinner menu has appetizers, soups, salads, mains, desserts along with cold and hot beverages.

Being vegetarians, we were satisfied with the veggie options and began our culinary journey at Kobeya with a refreshing glass of Go Greens Essential Smoothie.

Appetizers and Salad

We ditched the soup and went for salad instead. Their signature Vietnamese Veggie Spring Rolls was fresh, healthy and tasty. It was served with sweet chili mint sauce. The Japanese Pumpkin Croquettes were extremely delicious and was served along with their house salad.

Loved their Japanese Pumpkin & Fig salad. It had roasted pumpkin, thyme, honey, caramelized fig, feta, pomegranate, mixed salad, date sauce and gluten-free toast.

Main Course

Ramen made with gluten-free ramen noodles in vegetable soup, seaweed, spring onion and mixed veggies was comfort food in a bowl.

We also had their Asian Rice Noodles and it packed a flavorful punch. The portion size of the noodles was generous and can be easily shared between two people.

Dessert

Though we were full, couldn’t resist their Japanese Cheesecake with homemade mixed berries compote. The cheesecake was so fluffy and moist that it just melted in our mouth. An absolute must-try!

Ended our epic lunch with freshly brewed Cappuccino and a pot of Green Tea. Our overall experience at Kobeya Kitchen was outstanding. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere and the service was great. Their retail section was amazing and you can order the food as well as their products through their website.
