Last weekend hubby and I visited Sharjah to try the new breakfast menu at Crisol Restaurant & Lounge. And it was worth the drive from Dubai.
Crisol is located in University City neighbored in Sharjah. As Dubai dwellers we are not familiar with Sharjah, we used the GPS and reached the venue easily.
Crisol is a melting pot of versatile culinary brilliance. It offers global cuisine with a local touch. Their menu is vast and diverse and they have now added some new dishes to their breakfast menu.
The decor of the place is cool, chic and contemporary. Crisol features various kinds of seating options. We chose the cosy corner table for our breakfast.
We ordered Red Shakshuka, Falafel Boat, Mini Mango Pancakes and two of their signature Coffees. The portion size of all their breakfast items is generous and can be easily shared between two people.
The red Shakshuka made with mild spicy chunky tomato sauce with halloumi and eggs topped with mixed cheese and feta crumbs was utterly delicious. It was served with pita and sour bread.
Falafel boat had boat shaped bread filled with zaatar labneh, chopped falafel & makdoos, garden herb salad, radish and crumbled feta with tahini drizzle. It was a creative dish packed with exquisite flavor and taste.
Mini mango pancakes were super fluffy, light and incredibly delicious. An absolute must-try! Ended our breakfast with freshly brewed Cappuccino and Picolo.
We enjoyed our breakfast experience at Crisol Restaurant & Lounge. The food, the drinks, the plating, the atmosphere and the service was fabulous.
