Life is getting back to normal slowly though there seems to be no end to this pandemic. Yesterday we went out for lunch for a change rather than ordering food delivery. We drove down to Karama to a place called Badshah Palace & Restaurant.
Opened in February this year, Badshah Palace is a multi cuisine restaurant and cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Karama branch is their second branch, they’ve a main branch in Oud Metha Road.
The restaurant is spacious with a few seating area in the ground floor and an ample seating area upstairs. We sat upstairs for the lunch. The menu offers a good variety of Indian, Chinese, Italian and continental food. Being vegetarians we were not disappointed with their veggie options.
We started off with freshly made Orange Juice and Watermelon Juice to drink. Both the juices were refreshing and perfect to beat the heat.
We enjoyed both the Indian and Chinese starters Hara Bhara Kebab and Veg Crispy. The crisp and spicy veg crispy was amazing. A must-try!
For main course we had their signature Dal Makhani, Kadhai Paneer and Chapati. The dal makhani was rich, creamy and had an authentic flavor. Another must-try dish at Badshah Palace.
We found the kadhai paneer a bit too spicy and oily. The chapatis were fabulous…felt like it was made at home and went well with the curries.
Ended our lunch with piping hot and delicious Gulab Jamun. Our first time at Badshah Palace Restaurant & Cafe and we really enjoyed the food. The pricing is reasonable and affordable.
They also do home deliveries everywhere in Dubai. For a minimum order of 50 AED they deliver in Sharjah and Ajman.
