Living in a cosmopolitan city like Dubai we are exposed to many different kinds of cuisine. I was first introduced to Levantine cuisine 17 years ago when I moved to Dubai and now it is one of my favorite cuisine.
Sometime back when I was visiting a friend in Downtown Dubai, I came across Mezza House and decided to stop and have dinner. That’s how I discovered this Levantine gem and I can’t wait to bring my family for a meal.
Located in Yansoon Building opposite Souk Al Bahar, Mezza House is a beautiful venue with a magnificent view of Burj Khalifa. It is popular for delicious Levantine food.

Mezza House is a spacious place with indoor and outdoor dining area. Its Levantine-inspired interiors looks grand and gorgeous. They offer live entertainment every night and there is a separate area for shisha.
As the weather was pleasant I dined outdoors…al fresco style. Their menu is elaborate with a wide range of dishes and drinks. Mezza House’s menu offers something for everyone and as a vegetarian I was happy with the choices.
Started off with their signature mocktail- Lasting Memory. It was a refreshing drink made with pomegranate cordial, lime juice, rose lemonade and mint leaves.

For food, I ordered a variety of cold and hot mezze dishes and ditched the mixed grill and other main course dishes as it contained meat.
Some of the dishes I ordered were Fattouch, Hummus, Moutabal, Muhammara, Yalanji, Mousa’a, Potato Harra, Cheese Rolls and Grilled Halloumi along with freshly baked Bread.
Each and every dish was cooked to perfection and tasted utterly delicious. It was authentic and flavorful Levantine cuisine at its best.

Dessert was rich and extremely tasty Kunafa. Ended my dinner with aromatic and soothing Moroccan Tea.
My culinary experience at Mezza House was outstanding. Loved the food, drinks, service and the atmosphere. A must-visit venue for all the connoisseurs of good food.
