Catch 22 the modern multi cuisine eatery launched a vegan burger this month. I visited their La Mer branch today to try it. They also have another branch in JBR. Glad that I finally visited Catch 22 as I had plans of visiting them from a very long time.
The interiors of the venue is contemporary, cool, colorful and chic. The eatery is spacious and offers indoor and outdoor dining area. As the weather is lovely this time of the year, I sat outdoors.
Along with vegan burger I also ordered few other dishes. Their menu offer an eclectic selection of international dishes and there is something for everyone.
I started off with their Grilled Asparagus. It was chargrilled to perfection and drizzled with creamy Hollandaise. Their Garden Salad which I ordered as a side dish was basic, simple and fresh.
Next I had the delicious and flavorful Veggie Roll. It was light and refreshing. An absolute must-try.
Oh yes, finally it was time to try their Vegan Burger. All their burgers are served with regular fries or curly fries. And I chose the curly fries. Their plant-based meatless burger is stacked with vegan cheese, pineapple and pepper relish, lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, sweet potato frites and vegan chipotle mayo.
As the hands can get messy while eating, they offer gloves to wear. The portion size of the vegan burger and fries is big. Loved their juicy and succulent vegan burger. I’m sure even a hardcore meat lover will be happy and satisfied with their vegan burger. And the burger gets all the three factors right-texture, flavor and taste.
For dessert I had their super indulgent and sinfully delicious Chocolate Ball. Ended my lunch with a cup of Cappuccino with my selfie as a coffee art. How cool is that!
My experience at Catch 22 was amazing. I enjoyed the food, drinks, service and atmosphere. The vegan burger is a great new addition to their menu.
