This Saturday we visited the fabulous Bluewaters Island for breakfast. Having visited Bluewaters Island multiple times to various restaurants and cafes, this time we were looking for a venue that we hadn’t visited before. We came across Ketch Up, an American eatery and decided to give it a try.
Sprawled across two floors, Ketch Up is a spacious restaurant that also offers al fresco dining area. The interiors of the restaurant is modern, chic and elegant. As the weather was pleasant we dined outdoors.
They’ve recently launched a breakfast menu. Their breakfast menu is small and non inspiring, wish there was more variety and creativity.
We ordered Organic Oats Cooked in Coconut Milk with Maple Syrup. It is a simple dish that is easy to make and you cannot go wrong with that. And they had got it right.
Next we had the Cottage Cheese Pancakes and was surprised by the tiny portion as it was priced at AED 63. Though it was tasty, it was not filling. Their pancake portion is suitable for a toddler.
We ended our breakfast with coffee. Unfortunately both the Latte and the Cappuccino was light. Our overall breakfast experience wasn’t that good and the service was slow.
