Last Friday I attended the newest and one of the most fun-filled brunch that I’ve been to in a long time. It was at the Trader Vic’s outlet in Madinat Jumeirah. The Trader’s Luau Brunch is their new Friday Brunch and happens every Friday from 12:30pm-4pm.
It is a family-friendly and relaxed brunch with tropical vibes. There is unlimited signature drinks, delicious food, amazing live entertainment and fabulous atmosphere.
The exotic and tropical themed interiors of the venue looks stunning and the waterfront terrace outdoors offers a magnificent view of the man-made waterways. As the weather was pleasant we sat outdoors.
There are 3 kinds of packages inclusive of food and drinks. The drinks are served to the table or you can go pick up the drinks from their drink station. We enjoyed their cocktails- Tiki Puka Puka and Frozen Daiquiri.
There is a Salad Bar/buffet and we could go and get anything from the salad bar as many times as we could. We liked the quinoa salad, Hawaiian salad and mixed greens.
The starters, mains and desserts are served to the table. For starters there were comfort food like cheese balls, spring rolls, Korean chicken sliders and more.
There were five dishes for mains and we could choose one main course dish per person. I tried the vic’s veggies and my hubby had the Calcutta curry. Both the dishes were flavorful and tasty.
Next we had crémé brûlée, cheesecake and macadamia nut tiki for dessert. They were delicious especially the crème brûlée.
Overall the Luau brunch was good. The dancers and the live music enhanced our whole brunch experience. Definitely worth trying.
