Biryani Wa Kebab

There is a brand new restaurant in town and last Tuesday we went over to check them out. Biryani Wa Kebab is an Indian restaurant that offers an elaborate menu and they specialize in biryani and kebabs.

Conveniently located opposite Burjuman Mall, Biryani Wa Kebab is a spacious casual dining restaurant. It is a family friendly venue with modern interiors and ample seating area.

Open from 11am till 12 midnight every day, their extensive menu features a range of salads, soups, starters, kebabs, curries, biryani, Indian breads, mains and desserts along with cold and hot drinks. They’ve good options for vegetarians and non vegetarians.

We started off with Lemon Mojito to drink. As our starter we ordered the Veg Grilled Platter. It consisted of paneer tikka, navratan seekh kebab, tandoori mushrooms and til dahi ke kebab. Everything was perfectly grilled and cooked to perfection. We loved their veg grilled platter.

For main course we had the delicious Veg Do Pyaza. A curry made with medley of veggies stewed in a rich cashew gravy. It went well with the freshly-baked assorted Indian Breads.

After that we ordered two kinds of biryani. Veg Biryani for myself and Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani for my friend. The veg biryani was not the best that I had. I wish there were different kinds of veggies and soya, instead it mostly had green peas. My friend found the mutton biryani alright, but not extraordinary.

We ended our lunch with their scrumptious, rich and delectable Carrot Halwa. A perfect end to a delicious lunch.

Our overall experience at Biryani Wa Kebab was good. If you’re in Karama, Bur Dubai or any other neighborhood close by, you can give them a try.
